First Street Community Church will be providing as much of the Sunday Worship Services, Bible Study classes, and other activities as possible online.  We are monitoring Placer County health postings and will let you know here, on Facebook, and by text and email when things change.   If you have questions, see contact information near the bottom of this page.

[3/13/2020 update: The only activity cancelled at this time is the FAST after school program (because school is cancelled).]
[3/17/2020 update:  We are actively working on being able to provide online video (not just audo recordings) of Pastor Mike's messages due to the number of people who need to "stay home to stay safe".  All small Bible Study groups can continue, providing  leaders and members are well, whether at the church or at home.  There will be discussion of future options at the 3/22 worship service.]

[3/19/2020 update:  City of LIncoln, Placer County and the State of California have all issued Shelter in Place Directives.  We are continuing to work on providing "online" services.  New updatess will be added to this page as soon as we can develop these new services.

If you are sick, please let us know so we can pray for you and try to help if you have needs.

Join online meetings whenever you feel up to it.  If you are not receiving email or text notifications, please contact us.

You can still listen to the recording of the message at https://1stStreetCommunity.Church/Media. We try to get it posted each week by Monday at the latest.

You can still give by mail, using your bank’s bill pay system or giving online at Thank you for continuing to support the Lord’s work through our church!

Ways to keep in contact with us:

To let us know your status when absent, please use one of the following:

This will allow us to centralize status information.

Note:  Pastor Mike is having a second back surgery on Monday, May 11th.   He will be hospitalized for at least two to three days and then on heavy post-surgery pain meds for at least two weeks.   We will update this section again when he is available for direct phone calls again.
You can call Pastor Mike (he has been back on “light duty” as of 3/16/2020). If it is an emergency, he wants you to call any time. Otherwise, it would be good to wait until after 10am.

You can always call your Deacons.

If you haven't received access to the church directory (either printed or online), please let us know.  We want you to talk to each other.
You may need to stay home, but don’t isolate yourself.

Continue to Show God’s Love & Tell His Story!

While others are panicking, we need to share the peace and joy found in walking with the Lord!

We have offered to assist the Placer Food Bank and the Western Placer Unified School District with distribution of food to families in need.  They have been authorized to use some of their regular facilities but may ask us to provide use of our parking lot or Fellowship Hall later.

Be sure to pray for all the people impacted by school and business closures and the first responders and health care providers!

Peace I leave with you, My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.  John 14:27

We love you!
